I was really excited about this product but unfortunately the pea protein is dominant. It’s heavy and thick and hard to digest. I would love to try this as only cricket protein, but wouldn’t buy again with all the pea protein filler.
Jeanell! Thank you so much for your honest opinion. I wish there were more adventuresome spirits like you, and we could simply sell the cricket protein as is! I know that some people have difficulty with pea, and some folks have better luck with our protein because there isn't half as much as the market standard 'pea proteins'. We use a 1:1 ratio of cricket to pea, this way we get the nutritional profile of both and can offer a price point that works for people. Our peas are organic yellow peas whole- not isolates which can be troublesome for some folks. We are sorry that we didn't live up to your standards, and hope you find the perfect product! You can buy whole cricket powder from many of the farms that produce it! May the force be with you.
This is hands down the best protein powder I’ve tried. Quality, bioavailable ingredients without all the junk and still tastes great! I can take it on an empty stomach and feel great afterwards, which is not something I can say about all the others I’ve tried. Already recommending it to friends and family! Thanks for making such a quality product.
I love chocolate so when I found something that had great rich chocolate flavor and protein and was good for me and the planet I had to give it a try. I love it in a special smoothie, often with some Mayan Chocolate Therapeutic Blend for some kick, banana, ice, a little milk and wow! I have a drink for the afternoon that feels like a real treat and replenishes my body after a workout, or just because it tastes great.
Chocolate Protein Powder
Easily the best chocolate protein powder I've had. It just tastes more natural in flavor than a lot of the others. Plus its not bitter, but not too sweet either, making it good for shakes as meal replacements, instead of just a filler or post workout deal.
Pro Tip: mix it with the Chai protein powder for a "Dirty Chai" shake. (this is the best way, you'll see)
